This Myrrh from Somalia is warm, slightly earthy, smoky, spicy, balsamic and sweet. Aromatically this is a complex Myrrh oil and an artisan perfumer's delight! This Myrrh or Commiphora Myrrha is imported from Somalia.
Myrrh or Commiphora Myrrha is native to parts of Saudi Arabia, Oman, Yemen, Somalia, Eritrea and eastern Ethiopia.The oleo gum resins of a number of other Commiphora species are also used as perfumes, medicines (such as aromatic wound dressings), and incense ingredients. These myrrh-like resins are known as opopanax, balsam, bdellium, guggul bisabol, and Indian myrrh.
